7.French Quarter walking Food Tour: Signature Tastes of New Orleans

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 592 reviews · 3 hours (approx.) · from $85

Meet near the French Market for a three-hour, small-group food walk through the French Quarter. Taste dishes such as gumbo, jambalaya, Cajun specialties, and pralines while guides including Charles, Roger, Kimberly, Reagan, and Tish share food and city history.

“We’ve taken several food tours in the past including in New Orleans. I found this one fairly underwhelming. We took this tour in New Orleans in November 2025 but have taken this tour by the same company previously in New Orleans. This time there were only 4 stops. I appreciate more stops and smaller portions. (No need for 2 sandwiches at the same stop.) Tish was good and her information was interesting so I can’t say it was the fault of the tour guide. I gave it 3 stars because a walking food tour is always a great way to spend an afternoon but this one was disappointing.”
